bad news T_T

ok so... my internet randomly stopped working on my home comp [I'm at a friend's atm] and I've run tests and things and got help from my stepdad and cousin that both work with computers, and it's looking like my network adapter might be dead. I have a laptop, but my folks last I check don't seem to want me to have the WEP code for our wi-fi... so, I'll be gone until I can find a solution... T_T
